Youth Services

Youth, School, Kids, Education, Child Psychology, Youth Counseling, Therapy

Mission

To provide compassionate care to today's youth in hopes of ensuring a positive, safe, and productive environment.

How We Do This:

Our team would provide daily support in the school and community to the students, parents, and staff. This approach would include ensuring daily communication with staff and administration regarding the needs and assistance students require to ensure academic and social success. EFE staff would provide support within the classroom to address behavioral and educational needs, as well as, throughout the whole school and in the home with the parents and guardians. We utilize experienced, educated, and trained staff to provide behavioral interventions throughout the day to assist with behaviors, mental health needs, and community resources.

What We Do

We use a team approach to address behavioral, mental, and academic needs to students. This approach would include a case manager and therapist to provide support and insight into the needs of the students, parents, and staff. Evidence-based strategies would be utilized to assist students with increasing positive coping skills, decreasing behavioral referrals, and education to assist with positive peer interaction.

Overview

Empowered for Excellence (EFE) staff will work with school personnel on a referral basis to identify students and families in need of additional support to meet and achieve academic success. Staff will focus on identifying educational and community needs for students and families to increase classroom compliance and reduce conflict within the learning environment. Evidence-based curriculum will be utilized to increase the knowledge and use of positive coping and communication skills. This ensures students, families, and staff are able to foster emotional and mental well-being.
