Crisis Intervention

Empowered for Excellence provides face-to-face response to crisis or emergency situations experienced by a client. Crisis intervention is provided at the agency’s certified site or in the client’s natural environment. The goal of crisis intervention is to provide/assist the person(s) in obtaining services necessary to stabilize the crisis. Crisis intervention services may include, but are not limited, to assessment, referral, consultation, and help obtaining services and resources necessary to defuse, stabilize or resolve a crisis in the least restrictive setting. Development of a Crisis Intervention Plan and provision for follow up services are included.
