Information on COVID-19 and the actions we are taking

Amid the corona-virus pandemic, all of us have been forced to make changes in our lives and how we approach the clients we serve.  The services we provide to our clients are lifesaving and more necessary now than ever, as the current environment we are in today is stressful for everyone. Think of the massive impact these events it could have on our client population who struggle with mental health and substance abuse.

Here at EFEBH we want to reassure you that we will continue to provide our clients (existing and new) a safe place to live, group activities, therapy, psychiatric support, and case management to cope with the change and fear that comes with these unique circumstances.

We are following the recommended strategies that have been suggested by the CDC which

include:

  • Performing routine cleaning several times a day
  • Actively encouraging sick employees to stay home
  • Employees who appear to have acute respiratory illness symptoms upon arrival to work or become sick during the day will be sent home immediately
  • Emphasizing frequent hand washing, avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth, and covering cough or sneeze with a tissue.
  • Social distancing of clients and staff to limit exposure and preventing the spread among individuals.

If you are feeling anxious due to COVID-19, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We are here to help in any way that we can.

Stay healthy! Take Care of You!
